  1. Falling in the black,
    Slipping through the cracks,
Falling to the depths can I ever go back ?

  2. Posting this one for Billy as I remember watching this music video a long time ago when he was still living at home with the parents.

    Blackest of the black
    Darker than night
Come to me my bleeding light
    See she comes
    She comes now
    Enter oblivion

  4. I'm putting the full lyrics to this song because it is without a doubt one of my favorite modern songs. It almost makes me cry every time I hear it. I'm not a huge Pearl Jam fan, but this song is pure poetry.

    "Black" by Pearl Jam:

Sheets of empty canvas, untouched sheets of clay
Were laid spread out before me as her body once did.
All five horizons revolved around her soul
As the earth to the sun
Now the air I tasted and breathed has taken a turn

And all I taught her was everything
I know she gave me all that she wore
And now my bitter hands chafe beneath the clouds
    Of what was everything.
Oh, the pictures have all been washed in black, tattooed everything...

    I take a walk outside
I'm surrounded by some kids at play
I can feel their laughter, so why do I sear?
Oh, and twisted thoughts that spin round my head
    I'm spinning, oh, I'm spinning
How quick the sun can drop away

And now my bitter hands cradle broken glass
    Of what was everything.
All the pictures have all been washed in black, tattooed everything...

All the love gone bad turned my world to black
Tattooed all I see, all that I am, all I'll be...

I know someday you'll have a beautiful life,
I know you'll be a sun in somebody else's sky, but why
Why, why can't it be, can't it be mine?

  5. I also am posting the entire lyrics to my song. I had no idea the song was about someone dying. I could never understand all the lyrics and just assumed it was about someone going through a breakup.

    The Rolling Stones
    Paint it Black

I see my red door and I want it painted black
No colors anymore I want them to turn black

I see the girls walk by dressed in their summer clothes
I have to turn my head until my darkness goes

I see a line of cars and they're all painted black
With flowers and my love both never to come back

I see people turn their heads and quickly look away
Like a new born baby it just happens every day

I look inside myself and see my heart is black
I see my red door, I must have it painted black

Maybe then I'll fade away and not have to face the facts
It's not easy facin' up when your whole world is black

No more will my green sea go turn a deeper blue
I could not foresee this thing happening to you

If I look hard enough into the settin' sun
My love will laugh with me before the mornin' comes

I see a red door and I want it painted black
No colors anymore I want them to turn black

I see the girls walk by dressed in their summer clothes
I have to turn my head until my darkness goes

I wanna see your face, painted black
Black as night, black as coal

I wanna see the sun blotted out from the sky
I wanna see it painted, painted, painted, painted black
    Yeah!

  6. Every night I burn.
Every night I call your name.
    Every night I burn.
    Every night I fall again.
    Every night I burn,
    Scream the animal scream.
    Every night I burn,
    Dream the crow black dream.
